Following on from my Welcoming note, I would now like to wish all Friends a Happy Christmas and the best of Health and Happiness for 2022.

Things are progressing on the site. Dwr Cymru will be commencing the construction of the new Visitors Centre January 2022 and it is planned to be opened early spring 2023. During the weekend 11th, 12th December 2021 a few volunteers, under the supervision of two instructors from the Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA)   constructed a small section of dry stone wall, which should last for a 100 years, providing excellent wildlife habitat and a suitable site protection barrier. The intention is, again with assistance from the DSWA, in early 2022 to construct a few other similar lengths of wall, again for habitat and protection use. We hope to include Friends here, so please look at the web site.

The Committee are ensuring that the structure of the Friends is on a firm foundation, setting up a health and safety policy, well-being policy and so on. It is our intention to set up sub groups to cover membership, volunteering etc. and thus we hope that a number of  you will get involved here.
