How do I join Friends of Cardiff Reservoirs (FoCR)? Please complete the online membership form and pay your membership fee. The membership form can be found on the membership page of our website, along with details of how to pay. When we receive your membership form we will issue you a membership number and details on how to enrol onto Team Kinetic.

What is Team Kinetic? Team Kinetic is Dwr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW)’s volunteering management system. FoCR and DCWW post volunteering opportunities here which are available for members to book onto.

Can young people volunteer? DCWW offers occasional family-oriented events, including volunteering opportunities. FoCR works with external community groups, (which may include  children/young people with their leaders)  to devise suitable programmes, including volunteering. However, we are not currently able to involve individual young people in volunteering. This is due to the nature of the roles that we offer and/or to our limited capacity to provide appropriate supervision.  Most volunteering opportunities on the website, therefore, have a minimum age of 18 years.
